Material handling
For materials handling the use of S-Ply® leaf springs in linear- and circular conveyors provide a longer operating life than that achieved with conventional springs. Furthermore, improved machine-tool efficiency is achieved, which leads to higher product throughput.
Tobacco- and food processing require additional qualities from the springs, such as corrosion resistance, food quality hygiene, as well as high fatigue strength.
S-Ply® leaf springs exhibit these characteristics, are designed for long term operation and characterised by high reliability.
The temperature range for S-Ply® leaf springs is between minus 50°C and plus 70°C, and the spring exhebit only minor variation in spring behaviour within this temperature range.
